Mr. Torrent has been involved in the development, design, construction and operation of more than 100 renewable energy large utility scale projects across 5 continents. He has extensive experience in industrial and power plants automation, high level SCADA and control systems.

Mr. Torrent is the Managing Director of Quantum Power, a renewable energy development company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. He is a member of two renewable energy platforms- one focused in South East Asia and Australia and second focused in Latin America. Mr. Torrent received his degree in mechanical and electrical industrial engineering as well as masters’ in organization and engineering production and masters’ in automation and robotics from Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He also holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa - Business School.
